Messages can’t be seen

When I text in main chat others can’t see them but I can text in private messages with no problem, I have no flags saying I did anything wrong so I’m not sure what’s going on with it so if anyone knows how to fix it please help, I’ve tried everything I can think of and what others in private messages have suggested and it hasn’t worked
