About the UK room

Me and a few others in chat had an idea to try and populate the UK room. Now at the time we were discussing this, that room has been almost completely inactive as we all know it.

As we started using this room for a while at certain times of the day, guests suddenly came in groups and started flooding the room with different kinds of spam such as posting socials, phone numbers and targeting regulars with adult-orientated posts not to mention that a troll is attracted to that room making so many consecutive long posts. This has been going on for days and it would be no surprise if regular users are put off by it.

I do have request. Would it be acceptable to guest lock the UK room?

I don’t think the room would benefit from it. Perhaps we need a few room moderators who are regular to that room.

An RM would be a good idea too as I had that in mind as well.
